A view of the PB&J as it appears looking North. We are actually standing in Buk Lake in the "town" of Buk Lake, which consists of the car float and a yard office for the BLT switcher operations.

View looking north along the PB&J mainline. The car float for Buk Lake is lower-left, while the nearest brick building is the EZ Sitten furniture Co.; the float apron and apron tower are also visible at
the end of the float. in the distance is the tower for WBLK radio, "The mighty 940".
Detail view of EZ Sitten Furniture showing old-time, red alarm bell, fence and the BLT Ry. yard office---in an old wood caboose which is sprouting some trees and a pile of junk. |
Buk Lake's own radio station, WBLK, broadcasting on a full 5000 watts. The station slogan is "The Mighty 940". |
The BLT Ry. enginehouse at Platz. Must be a busy day, two of the two employees showed up today! The old coal conveyor has fallen over and nobody has bothered to put it back up. |
This is an aerial view of Isaac Solomon's house, directly next-door to his mercantile outlet. In the background at right is the now-defunct Trisco Mills building. At left-rear is the newer section of ACME
Products. Now you can actually see where the coyote gets all that stuff he uses trying to catch the roadrunner! |
An overall view of the station and the stores on Commerce St. in Platz Junction. This the unfinished area of the layout, it needs scenery and a lot of details. The station is an Atlas classic, and is one of my
favorite kits of all-time. |

The rowboats stowed at Buk Lake. They're used for maintenance of the railroad pier and other R.R. property that lives in the water. They're painted grey and green, same as the other maintenance equipment. |
